Brooklyn Nile is a registered business name of Nile Group Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 69 698 777 043. We handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
If you contact us through this website we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, whether you are hiring or looking, and anything you write in the message box. If you send a CV we collect the information in it. If you request the salary guide we collect your name and email address.
We also collect business contact details of professionals in the Sydney building services market from public professional profiles, for the purpose of business to business recruitment.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to discuss roles or hiring needs with you, to send you the material you asked for, and to carry out recruitment services. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your CV and your details are only sent to a client when you have given permission for that specific role. We do not send your details anywhere on a speculative basis. We use standard business software to run the business, including email and scheduling tools, which store data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate and client information for as long as it is useful for recruitment purposes, and we remove it sooner on request.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to stop contacting you, or to delete your information entirely. Email contact@brooklynnile.com and we will action it.
